Our camps are for children aged from 4-16 years old. We will group children according to their age.

Week 1: July 2nd to 5th (4 Day Week)
Theme: New Media: Photoshop + Illustrator, Website Design + Coding

Ages: 10-16 years old

Students learn how to create designs in Photoshop and Illustrator. Students will learn the basics of designing websites as well as coding. By the end of this week, students will be able to know how to create a basic layout for websites, creating designs in Photoshop and Illustrator as well as coding.

Week 1: July 2nd to 5th (4 Day Week)
Theme: Famous Artists and Their Subjects
Ages: 4-10 years old

 

Students learn about famous artists, such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Picasso, and Rembrandt. This week students get to learn about various artists and their painting subjects. Students will explore the use of materials, such as conte, charcoal, pastel, clay, acrylic and watercolour.

Week 2: July 8th to 12th

Theme: Painting Animals and Their Habitats
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

This week, students will explore animals and create paintings inspired by facts about animals and their habitats. Each day, we will be exploring different animals, such as bears, birds, reptiles and tigers. This week will consist of fun projects where students will understand better how animals live.

Week 3: July 15th to 19th
Theme: Character Design + Figure Drawing
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

Students will learn how to draw figures and characters on their digital devices. We will focus on building students character drawing techniques, such as human proportions and drawing facial features. Students will be both drawing on paper, and learning how to integrate their drawings on a digital device.

Week 4: July 22nd to 26th
Theme: Painting Animals and Their Habitats
Ages: 4-16 years old

Week 5: July 29th to August 2nd
Theme: Drawing Fundamentals: Portraits, Still Life, Animals
Ages: 4-16 years old

This week, students will develop their drawing fundamentals for the following subjects: portraits, still life, landscape, animals, and characters. This week will consist of fun drawing projects, where students both develop their shading skills, and drawing techniques for the subjects.

Week 6: August 6th to 9th (4 Day Week)
Theme: Exploring Art Around the World
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

It is important to look at art from other cultures. The world is a colourful place of different languages, skin colours, and different cultures. To build an appreciation for other cultures around the world, we will look at the various artwork produced by the different areas of the world. Through looking into and exploring other cultures, this will allow students to see the way people live and gain appreciation of the many cultures we have.

Week 8: August 12th to 16th
Theme: Drawing + Painting Fundamentals
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

This week focuses on drawing and painting fundamentals. They will learn about techniques and learning how to draw animals, people, landscapes and perspective. Throughout the week, students will be given different topics and themes and come up with creative ways to display those themes. For students that enjoy anime and cartoons, this is also included as an option for them to explore.
