Winter Art Camp Days:

Winter camps run during the week between Christmas and New Years.

Age Groups 

Our camps are for children aged from 4-16 years old. Students will be grouped to smaller groups. Max 10 students indoors*

Note: pack a lunch (we have games and food at snack time).

Full Day 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (in-studio only)

Half Day AM 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

(Available online and in-studio)
Half Day PM 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM(in-studio only)

*NOTE: For older students who want to create art for their portfolio during camp, please email us at [email protected] You can still register online to save a spot during camp. 

Winter Camp

Fees: 

Single Full Day: $125+hst 

Single Half Day: $75+hst 


In Studio Camp 

Max 10 people indoors* 

Due to Covid-19, all tables and chairs are sanitized before 

and after camps, and all students are expected to wear a 

mask throughout camp.  Students will be given plastic 

bags with their own materials. No sharing of materials in 

camp week. 


Online Camp: 

What is Included:  Art kit with materials needed for  that camp week! Make it easy to learn from home. Art Kits can 

be picked up from the studio for free. Art kits can also be mailed at a fee to chosen address. 

Online: We will be using Zoom for the classes. Powerpoint

 will be sent to students before camp

Day 1: Tuesday, December 29th
Theme: Clay Day Fun!
Ages: 4-9 years old

Students will recreate and reimagine Santa’s sleigh using clay, paint, and other tools.  Take Santa’s iconic holiday vehicle to the next level by sculpting gifts and toys onto the sculpture! This is great for kids that love 3D clay art! 

Day 1: Tuesday, December 29th
Theme: Painting Winter Animals in their Habitats

Available Options: Traditional / Digital  
Ages: 10-16 years old

 

Students will create a painting of animals in their natural habitats during the winter using acrylic paints. They will learn how to work with acrylic paints to create a realistic scene full of depth and detail. Learn how to paint animals in the winter! Note: For students that choose digital, they can do the above projects on their digital device. 

Day 2: Wednesday, December 30th

Theme: Winter Wonderland (Watercolour + Acrylic )
Ages: 4-9 years old

Students will create their own winter wonderland using watercolour paints practising basic watercolour techniques. Using key elements and principles of art, students will be able to enjoy creating their own scenic holiday settings

Day 2: Wednesday, December 30th

Theme: Digital Art Fun!
Ages: 10-16 years old

Explore the Digital Side of Art making during the winter break! Travel through the internet portal and explore digital art since the advent of the computer!

Students will learn using applications such as Procreate, Medibang, and much more. Students will learn drawing techniques from a digital perspective, exploring character and environment design.

Day 3: Thursday, December 31st

Theme: The Snowman + Winter characters! 
Ages: 4-9 years old

 

Do you want to build a snowman? C’mon let’s go and play! What face would you put on your snowman? Learn the basics of sketchching and colour your  snowman before it’s too late and melts away! Students will explore drawing various popular winter characters

Day 3: Thursday, December 31st

Theme: Environmental Design 

Available options: Traditional / Digital 
Ages: 11-16 years old

 

Learn basic sketching and drawing techniques, to paint a winter landscape. Students will be exploring one point and two point perspective when creating their environments. Fill your piece up with vibrant colours to bring your masterpiece to life! For students that chose digital, can create their environments on their digital devices. 

*Plase Note - Mediums are customizable for students ages 11-16 between traditional art mediums and digital art
