Winter Art Camp Days:

Winter camps run during the week between Christmas and New Years. 

 

 

Location 8110 Birchmount Road, Unit #3, Markham ON, L6G 0E3   

 

Age Group Our camps are for children aged from 4-16 years old. We will group children according to their age.  Note: pack a lunch (we have games and food at snack time).

 

Full Day 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

Half Day PM 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM 
Extended hours 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM  
*NOTE: For older students that want to create art for their portfolio during camp, they can. Just email us at [email protected] You can still register online to save a spot during camp. During camp, you will just work on portfolio building

Winter Camp

Fees: 5 Full Days:$380+hst 5 Half Day:$210+hst Single Full Day: $90+hst Single Half Day: $50+hst Extended Hours: $15 per day flat rate

Day 1: Thursday December 27th
Theme: Candy Canes
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

A candy cane is a cane-shaped stick candy often associated with Christmas. It is traditionally white with red stripes and flavoured with peppermint, but may also be a variety of other flavours and colours. Students will explore painting and sculpting an iconic holiday treat.

Day 2: Friday December 28th

Theme: Pine Trees
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

Students will explore various mediums and create beautiful drawings/paintings/sculptures of the classic pine tree. Using colours and shapes, students will decorate their trees to add a personal touch to their holiday cheer!

Day 3: Wednesday January 2nd

Theme: Holiday Feast
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

The holidays are a time for friends, family, and FOOD! Students will use various mediums (paint/pencil/clay) to prepare their own holiday feast of roasts, vegetables, breads, and delicious desserts.

Week 3: July 16th to 20th
Theme: Character Design + Figure Drawing
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

Students will learn how to draw figures and characters on their digital devices. We will focus on building students character drawing techniques, such as human proportions and drawing facial features. Students will be both drawing on paper, and learning how to integrate their drawings on a digital device.

Day 4: Thursday January 3rd

Theme: Winter Wonderland
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

Students will create their own winter landscapes using acrylic and watercolour paints. By utilizing and practising the elements and principles of art, students will be able to enjoy creating their own scenic holiday settings.

Day 5: Friday January 4th

Theme: Snowmen
Ages: 4-16 years old

 

An essential activity in the winter is making snowmen and snowomen adorned with hats, scarves, and mittens. Students will create various designs of this classic winter companion using clay and acrylic paint.
